Eve Talk is running a contest...
To find the perfect dating expert

We wish to find a female dating or relationship expert who already
has a following. This person must
  -- 1) have a PhD in psychology or some related field;
  -- 2) have good chemistry with our main host;
  -- 3) be personable;
  -- 4) be both intelligent and witty;
  -- 5) be likeable; and
  -- 6) be exciting to watch.

Our Plan:

After we have found the perfect host, we will undertake the search for a perfect co-host. Since there are a lot fewer potential candidates due to the requirement of a PhD, we will not need to travel to every city. The research will be a three-step process:
-- 1) Determine the sampling frame of all female PhD relationship or dating experts;
-- 2) Simultaneously screen and approach each about participating;
-- 3) Fly them into our headquarters for an audition.

Panel of Four Judges:

We will use the same panel of judges used to select the host in order to ensure uniformity. They will include: 1) a top talent agent 2) a successful talk show host 3) a top programming or development executive from the buyer's company and 4) the executive producer.

Criteria:

The contestants will each be asked to perform for 2-3 minutes in each of two categories: 1) give advice on a dating matter and 2) have a discussion with our host and mock audience. The judges will rate them on a scale of 1 to 10, whereby 10 is excellent, 5 is average and 1 is terrible. They will be rated on five categories:
1) ENERGY

This means how much stage presence they convey.
How lively are they?
Are they boring or exciting?

2) CHEMISTRY

How well does this person mess with our host?

3) LIKEABILITY
How much the audience will like this person?
How personable are they?

4) ETHOS

How believable is this person?

5) INTELLIGENCE

How witty and intelligent this candidate is?
Does this person make sense?

Final Selection

Three Finalists
The three finalists will be given screen tests and asked to perform
as part of a mock pilot of Eve Talk with our chosen host.
